DJ Bio
My love for music started in my parents’ car, where a steady stream of great songs poured from the radio and cassette player. From The Beatles and The Bee Gees to Prince, Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, and Carole King, the soundtrack of my childhood set the stage for a lifelong passion. Encouraged by my mom, I joined the school band, and the next decade was filled with CDs, marching band, concerts, rock and hip-hop bands with friends, a college degree in music education, and countless nights of jamming, performing, and recording.
In college, a class on youth subcultures led me to my first rave. I fell in love with the energy, the music, and the art of DJing. That night sparked my obsession with turntables, EDM, and hip-hop. I started DJing raves and parties for fun, producing my own remixes and original tracks. Before long, people began booking me for weddings, private events, and club nights. Along the way, I curated two seminal DJ/EDM weekly events: Tantra at Andy's Mediterranean Grille and BASSment at Cincinnati's legendary Mad Frog venue. These nights became hubs for dance music lovers, blending underground sounds with a welcoming party atmosphere.
In 2018, I went looking for a new residency. As luck would have it, the manager at Gypsy’s Covington had seen me play years before and offered me a dream gig—one that allowed me the freedom to play whatever I loved for a crowd of badass patrons. That partnership is still going strong today.
Currently, I’m thoroughly enjoying my Gypsy’s residency while also taking on weddings, parties, dances, and other bar gigs. I’m always excited for new musical adventures—and recently, I’ve even dusted off my old bass guitar, started writing songs again, and hit the stage at open mic nights.
